"Let not cut it"
Well, no class this afternoon, the professor has more important engagement apparently...
This morning was accounting course, not many things new, it was a review for me at least. Anyway, I was kinda surprised to find my accounting professor again :-), he taught accounting course in my previous school...So, of course, during the break we were talking about my friends, who do what, why I am doing master in hotel management, I am really happy to see him again. He is a great teacher.
We did not do a long canoeing trip yesterday since we had to drive about 2h to Bouillon, near France border, and the Semois river was not that nice, there was not much water to paddle...However, the weather was quite ok, and the view was beautiful so when we got stuck, we just stayed and talked instead of making an effort to help the boat move (although at some stage I had to jump out of the boat and pulled it, the water was freezing). There were 8 of us, so only 4 canoes on the river, and since Tara and Christ have to take train to London and flight to Greece, we had to be back to Brussels around 8pm, we decided to take things easy.
Delzoe decided to become a full time student in mechanic, he says he always love doing that, so his climbing place is owned by someone else now. It was funny when Ruben told me that they have put pictures of the climbing trips on a board there...
Ruben: "there are also pictures of your boyfriend there, btw"
Me: "Who?"
Ruben: "your boyfriend :-)"
Me: "oh, so I have a boyfriend now?"
Ruben: "Of course, you abandon me, climbing partner :-), how is Manu?"
Me: "hehe didn't you see him the other day?"
Ruben: "we will see, btw, I think I will cut when we get back to Brussels"
Me: "I agree, can't stand you anymore" :-)
People say there is rarely a friendship between a man and a woman, maybe it is true only when you have feeling/attraction for the other, otherwise it does exist, and it is nicer as well. Ruben told me that I might be too young to understand but when he got divorce, it was difficult somehow to stay alone, but now he takes things really easy although he also wants to start having a family. I understand how he feels actually, I told him maybe some girl is waiting for him and maybe not that far, probably his next door's neighbour :-). He told me that everytime he sees the couple next to his door, he is sure again that getting a girlfriend might not be a good idea after all :-))
The other day, Fox told me that Olivier told him that I made him feel calm when I was working there, and everytime he looked at me, he was calm. Of course, Fox and I laughed about it but I know Olivier likes me, he called me several times since I got back, and sent smses that are too personal...Now I don't pick my phone up, I guess I am a bit freaked out. I should not be afraid, I know, I think I just do not want someone get hurt for my behaviours...
Anyway, the weather is great, so I am going to enjoy it now :-)
