Update

Well, it has been a long time since the last time I posted something, the main reason was that I was too lazy to sit write in front of the computer and started writing even though I have so many things to write about. Things like sitting in a nice cafe, watching people walking by, thinking about their clothes, their hairs...or going to the supermarket and started chatting with an old lady about how to choose good chestnuts ;-).

The weather is actually giving a bit of a push for my motivation, it's raining and it's autumn ;-). This morning when I was sitting in the cafe, watching the yellow and orange leaves falling from tree, each time the wind blew, there were bunches of them flying above people's head as if they were dancing salsa or else with each other ;-). Beautiful, isn't it? I thought of when I grew old (yeah, I know that does not make me feel any younger by saying that, on the contrary ;-) but it is one of the habit I have when I start looking at people), what would I do? or if I sat with a friend, what sort of subjects would we discuss? Would we talk about men? ;-) would we talk about what would be our next travel destination? or we would talk about illnesses for old people?

When I was a kid, I wished that I had been an adult so that I could do whatever I wanted without having someone telling me not to ;-). Now thinking about it, having someone telling you what to do might not be that bad, we don't have to make decisions like which job to choose? who should we go out with (and eventually spend our life with)...I guess being an adult is not so cool after all when you think about the responsibilities that come with. So, that might be why many of us stress out when they lose their jobs, when they start having a new relationship (or ending one), when they have to think of the mortgage at the bank for their house, when they think of having a baby.

Who knows we usually say. But in fact, many things we do know and capable of realising, things that are in the reach of our hands, things we can decide about. The question is whether we are able to make decisions or we let nature takes its course? One thing I notice when people go through difficult stages in their life, the more they do, the more practical and down to earth they become, not sure if that is a good thing or bad but I wonder why? Is it to protect themselves?

Anyway, I have more time to write (and read) now, so I will write more. Recently, have been busy with trying to make new foods ;-), hopefully will have some delicious dishes to present soon hehehe
