Juicy duck *ss :-)))
Ben came to pick me up around 7.15pm or something, we left Brussels quite late because Fox was busy bidding on a 3G phone on ebay :-).
The restaurant we went to was called "Oriental Delight", just on little China town street in Antwerpen. It served so far the best cantonese duck ever (not the lacque duck, because the duck's skin was really crispy). We ordered a lot of dimsum: fired or steam, bao, chicken feet (Sofia, Ben, me, Fox, and Jeremy destroyed quite a few of them :-)), then a whole duck served with fried rice noodles a side, rice...Duck was so yummy, and of course, when it came to which part...we talked about the juicy duck's *ss :-) (of course, i was still referring the *ss of the duck!!!) because it was laying there, fat...I ate duck's *ss because, it was just a coincidence, it tasted fat, and really different from the rest of the duck (yuck!!!!).
Ben took the ass at the end :-P
Sofia mentioned about the African that attacked me and her the other day, and the guys were saying why didn't you both took him off, and took his wallet? Next time, we said. Then Jeremy said "yeah, but it's also good to know your value, why didn't you both made a fake website with your pictures and all, just to see." That reminded us with our website project when we were still in school together, me, Sofia, and Cris had a website together called "dreamland", of course it had nothing to do with adult website, just about our countries...:-). Cris came up " yeah, we could even put a webcam...", Jeremy stopped her of course, Fox "you can put-"wanna more, registered"-" :-)
I noticed something strange with Cristine (actually from ou last girlnite even)...After the dinner, Cris and Jeremie left because they had to to Southern France this morning to visit his parents. After they left, Sofia asked "Thao, is Cristine pregnant?"; It is strange, a woman's body changed is easy for another woman to notice that. I think Cris is either expecting a baby or gain a lot of weight. The former looks more real than the latter, she didn't drink any alcohol, and rarely stay in Brussels, usually stay with her family, and the way Jeremy took care of her, it said everything. Well, I am sure she will let us know when she is sure...in any cases, I will be happy for her!
Antwerpen was dead yesterday, we expected a more vivid night life, but it was very calm. we went to Cartoon first-nobody, then Muze, very nice bar with live jazz music, very nice. Of course, people in Antwerpen is more trendy, have style, easy going...Actually we noticed that all of us do not have Belgian friends except colleagues. We all think that it is difficult to integrate with them, don't know why, it goes well at work and all, good relationship but not as friends. probably because they do not want to invest to us, foreigners-"hmm, another one, who will stay here for a couple of years, then go away..." why should they invest in a friendship that doesn't last long? Maybe also the language barrier..
When we got back to the parking to get our car, it closed!!!! crap, we should have checked the open hours...so, we called the guy to come to open the door, had to pay 50 E plus the parking hour!!! Anyway, it was already 4am, and all we wanted was our warm beds. We had to wait for him for 1/2h, so we went to the gay bar next door to have tea :-), it was chilly. the gay barman was really friendly, and we found out that Antwerpen was quiet because first Friday of the month, people went party in Gent, Brussels (not to mention yesterday, it was anniversary of fun radio, so there were live Dj everywhere), and Leuven. So, wrong day!
At last, we took our car out, heading back to Brussels, we had a nice time in Antwerpen. But for the first time, we felt Brussels was sweet, we love it!
