Do you know...?
Tulips were brought into Holland in 1594, and a bulb costed an equivalent of a house in Amsterdam today. After years of cultivating, now it just costs a few euro cents.
This particular flower needs water to bloom, and three months cold winter (-9 Celcius) to prepare themselves to bloom in Spring.
...And has also made Holland become famous for its flower industry.
