Prague

Prague is such a beautiful and romantic city even in the blistering cold winter weather. I remember when I was young, when there was nothing else on TV except some very funny Russian cartoon or ballets (don't remember how many times I saw The Swan Lake on TV and how I hated it). From time to time to state spoiled us with some really good TV episodes made in CZ. I was a big fan of a science fiction CZ sitcom, which I can vaguely remember about a girl named Maika came from another planet who could fly. Man, how I loved that Tv serie. I and my sister used to ask my grandfather for permission to go to neighbour's house to watch it because we had no TV at our place.

I was able to see an opera play in the State Opera in Prague, that was a highlight of my trip I must say. I had never been to an opera before but my goodness, it was so impressive, emotional... no words can really describe the feeling that one can transform into their powerful voices. The play was called " La Boheme" of G. Puccini, so the setting was in France but they sang in Italian and you could understand because there is an English subtitles runing above the stade.
A very pleasant city trip...
