Spiritual Enlighten

After seeing Avatar a few weeks ago and currently reading " Eat, Pray, Love" book, I feel I have been pretty open to my surroundings (speaking like a true guru ;-)). No seriously, I have had discussions with different persons from different background and the mutual understanding is strong when it comes to how to keep postive energy and calm in spirits.

You may think I have turned crazy or become those idiots who want to have a guru in everything. The true is the concept of guru was misused or because many people had bad experiences with it, it makes us become skeptical when the G-uru word is mentioned ;-). I now think that each of us possesses a set of energy that allows us to interact with everyone, everything around us. When something happens, it is like a sign that a universe sends to us. Is it a sign when I have a thought that I want to be a painter and suddenly whereever I go, I talk to someone who happens to be a painter themselves? It is definitely a sign. The fact that I have that thought, it means I am capable of making my dream come true. I just need to send that message out ;-).

It is a shame that we have grown to appreciate things less now. When it rains, we complain. When it is cold, we complain. When it is hot, we complain. It is as if nothing happens to make us happy. The thing is if we start our days by complaints, we will end up having a serie of bad events happens during the day. Law of attractions? probably is.

I am learning to meditate at the moment. I thought that meditating is about sitting quiet in one spot but you can do that while you walk, or do something else. It's about concentration in order to bring your spirit back to present. The present in all possible meanings, not only time related. My, how difficult that is. Everytime I try to focus, many thoughts just roam inside my head, things like train is late, I have to call this person or that person, I have to remind sister to buy this, or tell mom about this or that ;-). Slowly but surely I am getting there, I guess. I also try to eat less meat or almost none or at least no red meat. Your body certainly feel less tired and heavy and one more thing I always believe is my teeths will not grow longer (if you eat meat, your teeths will grow longer and sharper-this might be a more persuasive reason for people to stop eating meat than telling them that producing meat for their consumption is destroying the environment).

My grandma will pass away soon, I think. I pray that she can go because at the moment, it gives me pain when I know that she suffers.

By the way, you all know about my plan to open a snack for foods. Well, it is done. We opened it a few weeks ago ;-). At the moment, my sister is running it, I am there only evening after work, when I don't have to dutch lessons, and weekends. There are still a lot of work but we are all very excited about that.

More news and pictures of the snack coming when I have a bit more time ;-)

Meanwhile, Happy Tiger year!
